GPP Street Team Crusade No. 36

I have been working on my Crusade 36 paintings and they are finally finished and here they are:

I enjoyed doing the challenge and learned a lot.  Also had fun making a royal mess.  Thanks for the opportunity to participate!

Been busy tearing apart the studio and putting it back together.  Need more space for working and right now am storing too much stuff.  Need to make some tough decisions in the next week and will see what makes the cut.!

Happy Giraffe, Belinda

P.S. If you are snowflake cutting challenged like myself, I found a great app called Make a Flake which allows you to cut snowflakes and see what they will look like or go back and cut some more.  I had almost more fun playing with this than painting - almost . . .

Belinda - this is so fun! Love the pink. Love hearing that you had fun making a mess too. Thanks for sharing your work with the team - and for sharing the link. I was going to post that same one today - it's a fun one!

Belinda I really like the stencil writing in the background, it looks very cool. And your snowflake is so intricate, good job! I was a little, umm, snowflake challenged LOL

Pink snowfloakes - I love it! And a "royal mess" that's what I make too, what a great expression. I'm goning to have to use it in my blog posts in the future! :-)

Thanks for the comments. The stencil writing was done with Montana Gold acrylic spray paint (no nasty smell, no sticky mess). What I love best about it is that you can apply paint to it and wipe it off and it retains just a hint of the color. Great for when you want it to recede into the background. So if you only wanted to purchase one can of Montana Gold, you could get a light color and dark color and just tint as needed. Cool!

So pretty in pink! I went to the snowflake site today and made a digital journal page using the snowflake I created. Lots of fun. It's on my blog now.

I like all the textures you added to your page which makes it so interesting.
